Friday, February 3: PEDAGOGICAL DAY: Students do not have classes.
Our Basketball teams are participating in a tournament in Montreal on Saturday and Sunday, February 4th and 5th. Good luck and have great games!!
Monday, February 6 to Friday, February 10: TEACHER APPRECIATION WEEK! To thank our teachers for their dedication and hard work with our students! Anything chocolate or muffins or other goodies …. are always appreciated!!
Thursday, February 9th: Cycle 3 ski outing at Belvedere Hill. Details will be sent home with the students.
Tuesday, February 14: Valentine’s Day. If you send Valentines with your child, please ensure all students in his/her class are included.
Saturday, February 18, at 6 p.m.: CHICKEN SUPPER sponsored by our 2012 graduating class. If you need tickets,($20.00 per adult and $10.00 for children 10 years old & under) please contact the school: 819-825-3211.
Tuesday, February 21, 7:15 p.m.: Governing Board meeting.
Thursday, February 23: Secondary Winter Activity Day
Friday, February 24: Term 2 ends. Regular classes for Secondary students for the day, attendance is mandatory.
Elementary Winter Activity Afternoon. Details will be sent home with the students.
Monday, February 27 to Friday, March 2: March Break Holiday.

Reminders:

Parents who are dropping students off at school are reminded not to park in the bus lane at any time - before school, lunchtime and after school. Buses must have clear access and we need to ensure safety for all. There is ample parking on First Avenue and in the parking area by the Adult Ed. Centre.

Winter weather:

Please ensure your child(ren) are appropriately dressed for the weather. It is recommended to provide an extra pair of mitts and socks in his/her school bag.

School Bus Delays:

Please listen to the local radio or check the CSOB website (www.csob.qc.ca), click on the “BUS” icon for information concerning bus delays or cancellations. The school is always open on these days and the Day Care is open as well.

Gym Shoes:

A quick reminder that your child(ren) (Kindergarten to Sec. 5) need to have non-marking running shoes for Phys. Ed and other activities in the gym.

Playground Improvement Project:

Interested parents are invited to contact Robert Allen at rallen@abfmines.com to form a committee to look into refurbishing our playground with new apparatus, etc.
